Connor is the Civil Engineering Department Manager at CASCO Civil. He is a registered Professional Engineer in 6 states. He acts as project manager for several projects involving multiple clients, coordinates with the client and CASCO’s internal departments to ensure the project meets client and jurisdictional needs. He acts as the engineer of record on multiple design projects to develop civil construction plans.

Project Experience

THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE

OVERLAND PARK, KS

Lead Civil Engineer and Project Manager for a proposed 10,000 SF daycare facility on a 1-acre site.  Coordinated with local jurisdiction to meet specific site requirements, and utility connection and service requirements.  Developed precise civil construction plans that included site grading, stormwater collection design, and utility design. 


DIERBERGS 

LAKE SAINT LOUIS, MO

Lead Civil Engineer for 11-acre site that included a 70,000 SF grocery store with four adjacent buildings.  Designed and produced Civil construction plans that included site plan, site grading, stormwater collection and treatment design, as well as utility extensions, metering, and connections.  Coordinated utility connections for all proposed buildings and permitting with the utility companies and City of Lake St. Louis for the entire site.


ORF ROAD, RONALD REGAN DRIVE, & HIGHWAY N IMPROVEMENTS

LAKE ST. LOUIS, MO

Lead Civil Engineer for modification and extension of adjacent roadways to a proposed Dierbergs store in Lake St. Louis that included additions to a state roadway.  Coordinated with City of Lake St. Louis and Missouri Department of Transportation on their requirements for roadways construction.  Worked with team of civil engineers and traffic engineer consultants to develop roadway construction plans that included stationing, profiles, utility relocation and extensions, and striping of roadways, as well as expansion of city sidewalks and bike path.

STARBUCKS | GRACO

MULTIPLE PROJECT IN TX

Project Management for several Starbucks ranging in size up to 10,000 SF. Casco provided architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical engineering construction plans.  Scope included review of site survey and schematic design packages and obtaining necessary permits from local and state jurisdictions.


URGENT CARE

ROANOKE, VA

Worked as lead civil engineer on remodel of existing building for a new urgent care facility that included expansion of existing driveway and parking lot and new utility connections.  Project involved coordination with the local jurisdiction and water and wastewater districts for permitting and approval.


URGENT CARE

LIBERTYVILLE, IL

Civil engineer professional of record for a new urgent care facility that includes the demolition of two existing buildings and construction of the new facility.  Project included complete regrading and paving of the site, new utility connections, and permitting with both the City of Libertyville and the Illinois Department of Transportation, as well as coordination with the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.

WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS*

CARLYLE, IL

Lead engineer for replacement of 20,000 LF of water main along state highway and over 20 connections to the existing distribution system. Completed calculations required to determine sizing of water mains to meet water usage demands of the city. Created plan to secure government funding, performed on-site inspections, and reviewed pay applications and change orders. 


SEWER COLLECTION SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS*

SORENTO, IL

Project included the replacement of the existing terminal lift station, a new force main, new sanitary sewer manholes and mains, and a new influent structure to the sanitary sewer lagoon. Created a preliminary project plan to secure a government grant and produced construction drawings and specifications. Completed design calculations that included hydraulics for the new terminal lift station force main and pumps, and the influent structure to the existing wastewater treatment lagoon. Performed on-site inspection to ensure specification compliance for the duration of the project construction. 


50,000 GALLON ELEVATED WATER STORAGE TANK*

SORENTO, IL

Created a preliminary project plan and performed an environmental review on the project and project site in order to secure government grant funding. Produced construction drawings and specifications for the project design. Completed design calculations that included hydraulics for the new elevated storage tank and the water distribution system. Obtained the necessary permits  that included permits from the Illinois EPA and the federal aviation agency. Performed on-site inspection to ensure specification compliance for the duration of the project construction. Reviewed all pay applications, change orders, and any other pertinent contract documents. Completed necessary quarterly reports to receive the grant that funded the project.
