Projects

Olive Crossing

Olivette, MO

CASCO Civil and R|5 Design Agency are providing schematic architectural building design and site development coordination with the owner, partnering site contractor, utilities, the Missouri Department of Transportation, and potential tenants. The project consists of 14.7 acres of redeveloped land with 6 buildings with mixed use occupancy. We are providing civil engineering and conceptual architectural services, including jurisdictional required presentation boards, construction estimating, and preliminary utility routing design concepts.

The Learning Experience

Nationwide

We’ve teamed up with Guggenheim Partners and the Learning Experience to design and develop multiple locations throughout the Midwest, mostly centered in the St. Louis and Kansas City metropolitan areas. Services include site feasibility analysis, entitlement coordination and presentation at city planning commission and city council hearings.

Dierbergs

Lake St. Louis, MO
Our team completed two projects in Missouri. The involvement in the first project was located in the Lake Saint Louis suburb and consisted of a ground-up build of a 70,848 SF Dierbergs Market with two attached retail strips (8,118 SF and 9,892 SF), and two additional outlot retail strips (6,676 SF AND 5,020 SF). These retail strips now house many retailers including The Post Sports Bar & Grill, MercyGo-Health Urgent Care, Daisy Nail Bar, Treats Unleashe, Penn Station East Coast Subs, PJ’s Coffee, and Andy’s Frozen Custard – with more to come in the near future. Our team provided the grading, drainage, and utility design for the entire site and performed roadway design services for the adjacent roadways to ensure the area could handle the increased traffic flow. In addition to the civil engineering design services, our team has also provided ongoing construction administration and support to the project team to ensure the final product was delivered with excellence.

Dierbergs

Crestwood, MO

The second project was a joint effort between McBride and Sons Homebuilders and Dierbergs Markets to redevelop the old Crestwood Mall site in Crestwood, Missouri. Our team was an integral part of the initial site planning, ensuring the overall site design met the local municipalities vision and goals for the property. Once initial City approvals were obtained, our team provided the overall demo and grading design as well as the design of new publicly owned infrastructure required to service the entire 50-acre site. After the site was prepared for development, our team then performed the final site layout, grading, drainage, and utility design for the ~25-acre commercial portion of the development. This half of the development included a ground-up build of a 72,123 SF Dierbergs Market with two SF attached retail strips (13,049 SF and 10,293 SF), and two additional outlot retail strips (5,000 SF AND 8,024 SF). This scope of work also included providing an ADA accessible path connecting the McBride subdivision to the Grant’s Trail trailhead located just north of the site. Casco Civil worked closely with CD Companies Structural Engineering Department to ensure seamless access via a 133 LF pedestrian bridge spanning the width of Gravois Creek.  In addition to the civil engineering design services, our team continues to provide ongoing construction administration and support to the project team. Our team is also excited to continue design and development of the remaining outlots located throughout the site.
